Being broke or busy should not translate to being unfit. Here are four ways to be in good shape without knocking at the gym door.

By walking your mind is able to focus on other things which helps reduce stress and gives you an opportunity of meeting and interacting with new people and getting to know your neighborhood and neighbors. When going to work consider getting off the bus a stage or two from your office and walk the rest of the journey this helps you to be alert and in an upbeat mood which is a healthy way to start off your day. If you are renting an apartment, you may consider staying at the top floor to help you with your exercise routine “A man’s health can be judged by which he takes two at a time: pills or stairs”
- Jumping rope. Skipping rope is one of the cheapest and portable exercise that helps tone your muscles and improve cardiovascular fitness.
